We serve because people matter.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
— Matthew 28:19-20
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
— Acts 1:8

God’s Word commands us as believers to go, to reach outside the four walls of the church (outreach), and spread the Gospel.
He also promises to give us the power to do so.

Acts 1:8 tells us that our outreach should include where we live and to the ends of the earth.
That is why we believe we have a mandate to spread God’s love locally and globally.

Local Outreach

  • We go into our community on the Second Saturday of each month to show hope and compassion to those who may feel alone, unseen, or that possibly might not know the life changing love of Jesus Christ yet. We do this by serving with our time, skills and resources. We provide meals and services while spreading the love of Jesus to those in our community.

  • Semi Annually we push our entire church to be a part of one of our largest outreach opportunities each year, through serving our community with our time and skills. We have a call in scripture to serve others just as Christ served the church and that is what we do. Whether through a free meal, yard work, specific project, care package, etc. we go out to be the hands and feet of Jesus throughout the city and surrounding areas.

  • Two weeks out of the year we give our church the chance to financially give above their normal tithes and offerings so that we can spontaneously bless people and organizations throughout our area. It may look like feeding our local teachers or first responders, handing out free popsicles in the park, or giving away gift cards to people at a restaurant; which we call random acts of kindness. This allows us to bless and love on people and expect nothing in return. We do different projects each year depending on needs and funds.

  • Christmas for Foster Kids

    • We provide Christmas gifts for foster kids in the community that are in need.

    Christmas for Seniors

    • We provide Christmas gifts for senior citizens in our community that may not have family or that may be in need.

Global Outreach

  • Throughout the year we partner with different global mission organizations to take a trip over seas to be a part of what they are doing in countries around the world. Depending on the organization and the location the trips will look different and require different skill sets or select groups of people.

  • In cases of disaster relief we financially support different organizations.

    • Convoy of Hope

    • As the need arrises teams are formed to aid in disaster relief through Convoy of Hope.

  • We support this organization by providing shoe boxes full of Christmas gifts for children in need around the world.
