Reaching New Heights Together

How It All Began

In the Spring of 2008 God began dealing with Pastors Derek and Keli Williams about planting a church in Enterprise, AL. The goal was to reach out to people of their community and help them to connect with God in a church environment without being constrained by man-made traditions or ideas. Basically, it was time to get "out of the box" and remove any other barriers that may stand in the way of a life-changing experience with God. With the help of a Dream Team - 11 adults committed to seeing this dream become a reality - HighPointe Church began on July 13th, 2008. The first Sunday there were over 100 people in attendance.

The life-giving message of the Gospel, heart-felt worship, joy-filled Sunday Services and a warm, family atmosphere have brought tremendous growth to HighPointe Church. We have rarely seen a Sunday without salvations and have seen countless marriages and families restored. We are in awe of God’s goodness.

HighPointe’s Mission:

TO DEVELOP FULLY DEVOTED FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST

At HighPointe Church, every idea, program, and dollar we spend gets filtered through our mission statement. If what we plan doesn't help fulfill our mission, then we don't do it. This mission is based on two teachings of Jesus:

“Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul and....mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

The Four Pillars of HighPointe Church

The hope of the world is Jesus Christ, beautifully displayed through the local church. HighPointe exists to reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus Christ so that all may become fully devoted followers of Him. Just as God demonstrates in Exodus chapter six, and Jesus repeats with the Great Commission, we reach people in four ways:

Weekend Services

We partner with God to bring people out of slavery in “Egypt.” We are here for the lost.

Connect Groups

We pastor people along their spiritual journey to the Promised land. We believe that real life change takes place in the context of relationships.

Growth Track

We help get the mindset of “Egypt” out of people by providing a clear path of growth. We provide a catalyst for spiritual and personal growth.

Dream Teams

We create opportunities for people to fully realize their redemptive calling and impact the Kingdom of God. We empower people to actively live out their God-design.
